On April 23-24, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences UL (room AP19) and the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts will host the 'Socialisation of Partisan Archive' international workshop. This event marks the conclusion of the research project Protests, Artistic Practices and the Culture of Memory in the Post-Yugoslav Context (ARIS, J6-3144, 2021-2025), in which MEMPOP is a partner for this specific occasion. Over two days, the workshop will feature: presentations of case studies on the mobilisation of partisan archives, a guided tour exploring traces of resistance in Ljubljana and several other panel presentations concerning Yugoslav comics genres. Moreover, project's outputs will be presented as well, namely the launch of the Rebellious Ljubljana digital platform, a double special issue of the Anthropos Journal and the monograph ZBORnik PRAKSA aktivističnega petja.
Below, you will find more details about the workshop’s programme, including its presenters, guest speakers, and lecturers, as well as insights into the project’s initial goals and how its research has evolved over time. Please note that the brochure’s text is in both Slovenian and English.
